SBI SUCCESS STORY: JIMMY JUDE

From his very first semester at San Diego State University, Jimmy knew he wanted to build a career in sports. That clarity led him to join SBI his first semester, a decision that would ultimately launch his professional career in the sports industry. “I honestly owe my entire professional life to SBI,” Jimmy says. “It gave me the jumpstart I needed to immerse myself in the sports business world and take advantage of real opportunities.”

During his time in SBI, Jimmy took on multiple leadership roles, serving as Vice President of Operations and CBC Representative, where he helped bridge connections between students, industry partners, and the broader sports business community. Through these roles, he connected with professionals across the industry while gaining valuable leadership and organizational experience. At the same time, Jimmy built a strong foundation through hands-on roles with SDSU Athletics, including sports marketing intern, media relations intern, and Football Equipment Manager for the SDSU football team. SBI’s impact came full circle during a site visit to the LA Clippers headquarters, where Jimmy networked directly with the team’s sales manager. That connection turned into his first full-time role as an Inside Sales Representative with the LA Clippers, which he began just one week after graduating from SDSU. Less than a year later, he continued his upward momentum by joining the Los Angeles Rams as a Membership Sales Consultant, where he has led his sales team in sales performance, establishing himself as a top performer at the professional level. Looking back, Jimmy credits SBI for providing more than just access; it provided belief, preparation, and opportunity. “SBI put me in rooms I wouldn’t have been in otherwise. Once I was there, it was on me to take action.” Jimmy’s journey is a testament to the power of SBI... turning ambition into action and connections into careers
