Weekly Meetings

Every Thursday evening at 6 PM, we conduct engaging in-person weekly meetings. These sessions feature prominent guest speakers from the sports industry, who have held significant positions or currently hold recognizable roles. During these gatherings, they share their journey of breaking into the industry, recount notable experiences, discuss their various roles, and offer valuable advice for students aspiring to enter the world of sports. Exciting Site Visits

One of the best ways to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry is by visiting the main offices of various companies and organizations. Luckily, we are located in San Diego, a city with a strong presence in both professional and corporate aspects of sports, providing excellent opportunities for these site visits.

Community Involvement

Over the past two years, SBI has also been focusing on enhancing accessibility in the virtual environment. Our goal is to serve as a valuable resource for all students, supporting them in achieving their sports-related ambitions.

Active Members in the Industry

Our shared passion for sports and the industry has brought us together. However, we believe that passion alone is not enough; taking action is crucial. Many of our past and present members, including executive board personnel, have already taken significant steps in their sports careers during their college years. They have gained valuable experience working for esteemed entities such as the Padres, San Diego State Athletics, San Diego Wave FC, Major League Baseball, Fox Sports, NCAA D1 Athletics, Sports Marketing Agencies, among others.
