What we do...

weekly meetings

We host weekly meetings on campus on Thursday nights (7pm), generally including an influential guest speaker who holds or has held a recognizable position in the sports industry. Here they share how they broke into the industry, notable experiences, positions held, and key tips for students looking to break into sports. Check our past speakers list.

Site Visits

There is no better way to get first hand experience in the industry than to visit the company or organization's main offices. Here in San Diego, we are fortunate to go to school in a city with a strong sports presence on both the professional and corporate aspect.

In the community

A new focus for the 2017-2018 school year is our involvement in the community. We feel that it is important to get out and off campus as a group to the many events that are held in this city. Not only is it great to give back but volunteering is one of the key ways of getting your foot in the door in the sports industry.

Already in the Industry

We are here because we share the passion for sports and working in the industry. But there is a distinct difference between having that passion and actually taking action. A great deal of our past and present members and exec board personnel as college students have already held key roles in sports working for the Padres, Major League Baseball, Fox Sports, D1 Athletics, sports marketing agencies, notable golf courses, etc.
